If I had a daughter who loved me enough to try and get something for my hobby that she thought I'd like, I'd make sure I ran the wheels off that puppy to show her how much I appreciated her interest. If it didn't run well, I'd discretely try to remotor it.....but I sure wouldn't replace it. You'd be surprised how observant a child of any age can be.....
