Well, the Kato AC4400CWs and 9-44CWs are all powered. Athearn might have made a Dummy version of their Blue Box Dash 9, but i doubt it.

Hope you don't mind me asking but.....Why do you want a dummy?

I got run the athearn challenger and i have the excursion cars but i tried to run a deisle with it to be more realistic but the AC4400wc was pushing the challenger and it did not look good so i was looking for a dummy. and i do not want to buy a expensive deisle if that is what i am going to do with it.
And the challenger pulls just fine by it self so it does not need a helper.
4884bigboy You said you got to run the athearn challenger, I looked at your photo's and i saw #3985 next to you fef-3 #844 is #3985 Athearn?
#844 is my next big steam

Athearn did make a dummy version of the AC4400.
They might still show some on their website.

Countershot,

Yes, the 3985 is an Athearn. I got to borrow it for a week from a friend and just had to get a pic of it with my 844. The 844 is the latest run from Rivarossi. If you're thinking of one, I'd go for it. Great locomotive, and they're just $129.99 at Walthers. Good luck.
