I've come to realize that just about every other niche diesel group has been fully rounded out in recient years with the exception of Limas. I'd like for someone to make one of the big Lima double header transfer locomotives (LT-2500) or their RS1-ish looking road switcher (LRS)
I'd go for Stewart making them, it just seems right after their great runs with the Baldwins and Alco Centuries.
Anyone got word on if there's demand or a planned release of Limas?

You and me both. The one engine I would love to see produced is the LIma transfer engine.

I would like to see Lima yard goats or transfer locomotives, IN N SCALE.
A nice running Lima yard goat would be nice in N scale as the only yard goat that we now have that is reliable is the Atlas Baldwin. Its body parts are a bit ill-fitting, though. The LL EMD goes together nicely, but is not as good a runner as the Atlas. LL also needs to replace those horrible pick-up/contact strips on the underside of the walkway with something more reliable.
The road switcher would most likely appear in any scale only in brass, as it was unique to the NYCS (unless C-C decided to manufacture it, then it would appear in NS, CR, E-L , CP, and, of course, ATSF).
The transfer locomotives would be nice as no one in N scale makes a US prototype transfer locomotive.
Lima is the one builder not represented in N scale diesels. N did only recently get Baldwins and FMs that ran reliably (I am not counting the 'J' class locomotives that plagued N for years and that some vendors still want top dollar for at shows).

N has had a FM H-10-44 for years(old Trix engine). It was the best running N scale switcher until the L/L SW1200 arrived on the scene.....

I would also like any type of a Lima diesel because all the railroads that went thru my hometown had them,I live near Lima and the shortline owner of one says they were the best switcher built at the time. Joe G.

I think there's also a large enough series of owners to release a Lima transfer engine without having to go into "what ifs"
SOO, The J, Pensy and a few others stocked em. Figuring two numbers a roadname that's a good series there. It's been a good while since we've had a transfer motor of any kind offered in HO, so I'd say we're about due.
