There's a few magazines that might be of help. Railway Modeller is published by Peco, but is a bit old-fashioned in both style and approach - they have little or no web presence. Model Rail is better (to my mind) but again has no website. British Railway Modelling does have a web presence and a forum at www.brmodelling.com Also worth a look is Model Railway Express Mag at www.mremag.demon.co.uk - this has up to date news and reviews of models and trade events - as well as discussions by email. If finding a supplier in your area is difficult try www.ehattons.com for models - they stock pretty much every Hornby and Bachmann release and are willing to ship worldwide, prices are lower than list and they often have bulk packs of one type of wagon or coach that will help with making up trains on a budget.
