Fleischmann Turntables ???
Posted by Meyblc on Thursday, April 7, 2005 4:32 PM
I own a fleischmann turntable that the electric motor that actually turns the table has burned out. How do I go about getting a replacement? The instructions tell me that I have to mail the entire thing to London England. For the price of shipping, I might as well just buy another one. Do they have a direct web site? Has anyone had any dealings with them?

Thanks for your help.

Michael;

Fleischmann has minimal, if any official presence in the USA.

At this stage, I would take it apart, and look for a replacement motor from another source.

Michael,
Try Euro Rail Hobbies in Vancouver. http://eurorailhobbies.com/
It may take some time, but they can usually get Fleischmann parts.

The other contact for Fleischmann is Reynolds

They may be able to help as well.
