Wiring

Either of these type track components should be fairly easy to wire for two rail DC operation. The three way switch, which I presume is a simple lap turnout, is wired by attaching a feeder to each stock rail on the point side of the turnout. The Double crossover is also simple because by nature it should already be constructed with gaps in the correct rails. Here again, run a feeder wire to each stock rail on the point end of each switch (eight connections required on this one, though). The correct rail for the common and block wires is the same as you find in any other two rail wiring application.

I recommend the book by Atlas on "Wiring Your Layout using Atlas Components" or something like that and another book written by Andy Sperandeo on "Wiring Your Layout". The books are not very expensive and contain a wealth of information.

Good Luck - Ed
