[#welcome] to the forums santa fe, you will find lots of great info here. such as was mentioned above, you will find people who dont have any trains and are just interested in getting into the hobby, to people who have just bought thier first trainset. all the way up to the people we all envy who have a layout bigger than most of our houses[:P]. I personally am working on my 3rd layout to date, its in a 10' by 11' room around the walls up near the cieling, right now its just boards and track but its coming along. Im sure this hobby will give you years of enjoyment.
