too much to choose...

was at a train show today in Kingston, NY, not that bad for my first time there... of course there was some junk, some good stuff and 1 or 2 table with some quality stuff!!! I found a new hobby shop that might be a 45 minute to an hour ride from me... But he had some great stuff.... all new stuff. I could have bought at least 3 engines from him today... but didn't ( budget is low at the moment!![B)]) but great stuff..

thought maybe I was going to finally get my DCC setup. but just when I thought I had it decided upon.. the guy told me, any of them are good!!! Great jsut what my brain needed to hear!!!!! But there was some good deals... I came home with 2 curved turnouts and some binders( at a steal price) for my modle railroaders....

well off to the basement...
later

i was at kingston today myself. i bought a set of nycta redbirds from flying scotsman. my club was going to take our ho modular layout there but we didn't have enough members to man it. there were three members there with their layouts. one was the small n scale layout another was the z layout and the thomas large scale floor layout. i just put digitrax wireless dcc on my layout last week and there is no going back to dc now. i do mostly switching for now and the slow speed performance is fantastic. you'll enjoy whatever you get.

Usually the flying Scotsman has a lot of stuff... of course maybe it was the size of the show. I thought the hobby shop from Collinsville, CT had some quality stuff.. I may check out there prices at their shop... I am down to MRC, Lenz or Digitrax,,,

MRC might get voted out, I don't think it is wireless...... but I might be wrong.. heard alot of good stuff about it...

but overall, the show was pretty good... when is the next train show...!!!!!
