Hello,
The theme of HO layout is CN, western Alberta, c1957 (transition). I need a few wooden cabooses to terminate my trains, but the only models I can find are by Roundhouse. Does anyone know of another manufacturer that offers CN wooden caboose kits?
Thanx in advance.
Dwayne A.

these are fairly advanced kits but look very good! My father has a few on his layout based on the CN in owen sound during the transition and are good.
hope this helps

Hi
I have converted a roundhouse caboose, but
it's too much work, and it still isn't quite
prototypical. Try NORWEST kits.

There is a beautiful wood craftsman kit available from Juneco Scale Models. The Sylvan kit is also nice, and probably easier to build. I have done their steel CN van and it's a beaut.
