Nigel - Some questions:
What do you use to support the plywood? If well-supported (say every 16"), do you think you could use even thinner plywood?

I like Alleene's Tacky Glue, too, for the roadbed-to-foam part, but do you use it to glue the foam to the plywood as well? (I was a little leery of using it for that, so I used Liquid Nails.

Did you get 4" foam by layers, or where did you find 4" thick foam? If layers, did you use Alleene's there as well?

Thanks,
billk

PS I see you registered at The Gauge a while back!
