Visit the Bachmann Forums, they were all over this chinese made model when it first came out about a year ago. You can certainly find some threads on that engine.
Good Luck!

It is well detailed and runs well. My problem is, it's bad enough we have all our models of American prototypes made in the Far East, but now we are outsourcing the prototype as well!? Not on my layout.
What could have happened.... did.

The engine is well made, very accurately portrayed and has superb detailing. It is a Chinese engine but with a little work it could very well represent a North American 2-8-2. The tender is the most objectionable thing along with the cab winterization windows, to me. I'll be changing them and the sand dome, pilot and reversing the positions of the power reverser and air pump on mine.
It's a smooth runner and I've had no operating problems. I love those small boxpok drivers!!
It's slightly larger than most logging Mikes and slightly less than the other Mikes available so, for me, it makes a great little shortline engine along with the Russian Decapods and S-160 kits from Model Loco.
