Lets see, summer = grass to cut, gardens to tend, the pool, the smoothies and rum cokes on the deck, all the other outside chores.....winter= cold, snow, stay in, work on layout.....so what was the question again?
Dick If you do what you always did, you'll get what you always got!! Learn from the mistakes of others, trust me........you can't live long enough to make all the mistakes yourself, I tried !! Since I have more time off of work in the winter I focus mostly on my basement HO layout, modeling my structures, running the trains, and havin' fun. When Summer arrives it's time to play with the outside G-scale, re-ballasting, planting shrubs, and of course running the trains. Railroading never stops at this house![8D]

The warmer it is, the more time i spend on my layout. I will average six hours a day
1- i am retired 2- my HO layout is in my back yard. It is now ten months outdoors.[:)]
