Good Morning Krump: <br /> <br />If you buy this with the idea that it's a stop gap measure, it's probably a good deal. Remember that he used it as a starting point and is now moving on to something else. You will probably be doing the same thing. The locos that you put decoders into wont have to be changed nor will the wiring when you move up. If you want a system to build on, I don't think this would be the way to go, but it is a cheap way to get into DCC. <br /> <br />Let the coffee clubbers know what you decide. <br /> <br />Have a blessed day and remember SANTA FE ALL THE WAY <br />Bob
