I need a source for prototype forms.

I need to know if anyone knows of a place that can print form 19s and 31s on the correct paper. I do the theming at a major theme park and need to get these forms and others printed with the name of our railroad to be placed in the depot. Thanks for any help that you can give me.

Are you looking for a stock item or do you have samples of paper and type set and want to reproduce vintage forms? How many do you need? I would think any lithograph print shop could do the job if you have samples.

Gary; Thanks for your reply. I have samples of old Milwaukee Road 31s and some switch lists. I could make up 19s and 31s on the computer, but they would be on regular paper and I'd like to get them on onion skin. I'm not sure that my printer would do onion skin.

Have you looked for a printer near you? I used to work in a silk screen print shop.
If you need a steady supply of prints, a good print shop should be able to help you print on anything. They can make lithograph printing plates of your art work (but not copy righted materials) and print them an any paper. You may have to special order the paper if it's something they don't stock.

Of course, you can make them very easily in Microsoft Word, if you have the originals as templates, and you can probably find a printer who will not only print them but bind them up in nice neat pads for you.

But here's a suggestion, which may be easier than printing flimsies: why not simply have the orders printed in alternating colors on your pad, and insert carbon paper between them when you're filling out the orders?

Thanks for the suggestions guysRight now I need only a few copies but I may have to have a lot run and store the extra for spares. Sometimes the theming stuff dosen't last long. The gusets ( mostly the young and unsupervised ones ) like to throw things at the animations. You know like cokes and spit and tobbaco.
