I understand how some fellows want to run a miniature railroad in their basements. Me. I just want to build them. I was part of a club once and we were pretty evenly split between those wanting operations and those of us that just wanted to build stuff. Funny thing was that the "operators" were not usually around when stuff needed to be built. Go figure!? Koester's column made it sound like he just now found out that many model railroaders don't give a hoot about operations. And he had to find this out by reading it in a book. Later. Jaime
