It was out of the box and pulling a train before I even thought to break it in, I was THAT excited. That was 2 years ago. I was 62 and the neighbors all thought I'd taken leave of my senses.
Tom
[/quote]

Tom

I noticed you are listed for Carmichael. I am in Auburn and just noticed. Do you go to Bruce's or Railroad Hobbies in Roseville?

I have to smile when I looked at your choices for I too like the M4's. I went to Duluth three years ago and in the Musuem there, mounted on rollers is one of the last M4's that ran in late 1959 or 60. If you pu***he button on the wall, it will power up and run slowly for about one minute by electric motors but with actual sound from large speakers. I was there for two hours on a slow week day, and I stood at the button and ran that engine many times over and over.

You would certainly enjoy seeing it if you have not been there. They also have one at Procter outside on display and one more that I can't place at this time.

Larry
