Quite a kit, from1949, keep us posted. I see FAM has a 1:32 Allegheny for sale if they are not sold out, for $8500.00, I better start collecting aluminum cans if I want one, any info on the manufacturer???

Boy, do you have MY admiration, taking on a project like that. Hope you show us construction in progress (and of course the finished product). I like your electrics, even though I'm into steam, I've always had a thing for big electrics like the Little Joes and the Virginians. Good luck with the Allegheny, I think those 2-6-6-6's are incredibly handsome locos.

Dinwitty, did you recently get the Winton off of eBay? I bid on a kit about a month ago, but I don't think I have the skill to build it yet.

Thanks, Kevin
