Holy cow. Anyone not from Canada raise your hand.

Never been there, but hope to go someday.

Hello from Ft. McMurray Alberta! First time on the site today. Absolute newbie to the hobby, I’m helping my father in-law to build his first train. We started last night. We are flying by the set of our pants, but having fun!

I think model railroading is the official leisure time activity here in Vancouver, second only to coffee-drinking. Add another Canadian model rail to your count; I grew up on Vancouver Island, so of course I model the E&N, but my "hometown" American road was the Milwaukee, across the water in Port Angeles.

How's it goin', eh?
I feel slightly less canadian because I live in Calgary, but I still spell color colour, I watch curling,(Briar soon) I even curl using red and yellow(and sometimes blue) smarties on a piece of cardboard.

Take off, to the great white north
Take off, it's a beauty way to go
TAKE OFF, you HOSERS
