Ok you eastern boys can cry Allegheny all day long but you never ask any of us UP Bigboy nuts why we like them and not yours? I grew up in Dallas next to the UP mainline so all I saw was armour yellow and harbor mist grey all day everyday. My Grandpa was a member of the Age of Steam ... what is the biggest thing parked down there? Up's 4018 4-8-8-4 I saw it all the time I climbed in it rang its bell blew the 3 chime thats on the whistle tree and basically studied everything I could get my hands on that dealt with bigboys. when your 8 years old and you stand next to an iron wheel that is triple your height it has a heavy influence on you. If you want to point fingers or put in t a real complaint as to why your engine is not as well liked ask the railroads who didnt put a huge effort into marketing and filming them. <br />
