<p>As a German, I hate to admit it, but the best beers are to be found in the US these days! In the good old days, each town had a number of independent small breweries, each with a unique taste to their brew, but that is history by now, as beginning in the 1980s, just about all of these breweries were bought by less than a handful of big beverage ´companies, which closed the small breweries and now just make a generic beer. So, regardless of what brand you order, the taste is more or less the same.</p> <p> </p>
