Currently re-wiring my track switch control panels - I was using the Peco slide switches, now I'm changing over to their lever switches mounted in their control panels. My plan is to have a seperate control panel for each board as this will reduce inter-board wiring to 4 wires - 2 track, 2 16V AC for switch machines. I also plan to buy a walk-around throttle unit to control the layout, so I can stand where I'm switching, rather than at one end of the layout and trying to gauge where the uncoupling magnets are in relation to trackside objects!

I also plan to change to DCC in the medium to long term - probably with a Lenz Compact unit as these seem to be the best value over here and can run one analogue loco alongside the DCC ones - handy as it means I don't have to change all my locos "overnight".
