Good Morning!

I am still very much under the impression of the Las Vegas incident. This is so utterly sad!

We are back to touring Switzerland. We are in Interlaken, a fashionable hotspot between two lakes (hence the name), but we won´t stay long. We make our way to Zweisimmen, where we board an MOB (Montreux Oberland Bernoise Railway) to Montreux on Lake Geneva. The line is known as the "Golden Pass" line, the name being a marketing person´s invention to draw tourists away from the uber-famous Albula and Bernina lines of the Rhaetian Railway. Nevertheless, it is a great ride through beautiful scenery. Join me in a cab ride to see for yourself!

As you know, Switzerland is a mere spec on the globe, hardly visible. There are counties in the US which are much bigger! Yet Switzerland sports 4 vofficial languages, the main one being a kind of German, followed by French, Italian and Raetho Roman, which is a mixture of German and Italian (don´t let the folks in Engiadina hear that). Montreux is in the French speaking part, so those of you who took French in their high school or college days can now prove their language skills!

Dave - congratulation on your DIL to be! I have never understood why so many women are doing accounting! Whatever you do, it all boils down to is writing small numbers in small boxes on big sheets of paper, while the sum of the lines has to match the sum of the columns. I always found that to be extremely boring, which is certainly a strange attitude for an ex-CFO.

I am sure you all will have a good day today!
