That is very sad news.
He will need to be added to the RIP track. I don't know how to do that.
Could you check to see if Kevin seeyou190 still has access and can do that?
If he has totally divorced himself from here, maybe he would be kind enough to explain it to you if you would be willing to give it a try.
Thanks
Maxman
Zoe, a round in honor of Dave please.
Mike
I will sure miss Dave. He was very helpful to me, as I'm sure he was to you all. Here's hoping nothing but green signals on his final trip.
Regards, Chris
Mr. Beasley, thnx for sharing that sad news. It's good to see your presence here again. I hope you can continue with us as well.
Sad news indeed. Dave brought a lot of positive waves to this forum. He will be missed.
Simon
While it's bad news regarding Dave, I suspect that it's a blessing in disguise for Dianne and his family. He will be missed.
Maxman, it's not my favorite Forum activity, but I've been updating the RIP Track since Kevin's departure so you can rest assured that I will include Dave..
My condolences to Dianne, family and friends.
Kind regards, Craig the Bear.

Thank you.
Hopefully this should be able to be copied and pasted.when required.
Thanks again. Not sure I like the "four immediate openings, no waiting" part.

Thanks, Bear. My ability to post here is limited to a tablet so anything complicated is impossible. I've been locked out on my laptop, like many others.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
Bear, thanks for taking over the task of the RIP Track. We all appreciate your efforts.
Regard, Chris
Bear, thanks for your efforts in keeping the RIP track current. Much appreciated.
Struggling to post from my phone today. Not sure why. Seems to be a connectivity issue, but other web sites load up just fine. Hope this isn't a trend.
First snow flurries of the season today. About time.
Snow flurries!! Yuck!! Though I guess that it's good that you have got your Christmas lights up, Mike, no falling off the ladder or roof! However, becoming more Scrooge like the older I get, the less I like seeing Christmas decorations up before the 5th of December. Still when in Ludington...
Some of the good things at this time of year here, is fresh asparagus, and Gisborne oranges. On the way to work, every several days, an elderly couple sell "seconds", oranges that are the wrong size, or have skin blemishes and are not seen to be suitable for the supermarkets. Talk about being fresh and juicy!
Simon, apart from the 1/8 th rod on which they are perched, my spark plug aeroplanes are made from used parts and scrap. A drawing for a mod that required me to put "nutserts" into a carbon fiber structure called for the use of "Metalset A4" an epoxy that is an adhesive that can be filed, drilled, and tapped. As I only needed a about a tablespoon, and as mentioned being a Scrooge, I am using the "Metalset " instead of solder, as I don't want it to over run its shelf life.
Updating the RIP Track is just a little thing I can do to repay (?) the Forum, though I hope those three spaces remain unoccupied for a considerable time.
I note that CNCharlie has joined the ranks of the "login lockouts"!
Her-in-doors and I are flying down to Dunedin today to see our daughter, haven't seen her for a year, so looking forward to this evening.
Thoughts and Best Wishes to All that need them. Kia Kaha.
Cheers, the Bear.
Snow flurries!! Yuck!!
I am glad to have the lights up on the roof. Getting them down is a crap shoot. Sometimes they come down early January, sometimes early April.
Sitting in Indianapolis this morning as my youngest has a soccer tournament here this weekend. Indoors today but outdoors Saturday and Sunday. Fingers crossed the weather holds. Bear, enjoy your trip!
Happy Friday everyone!
Gidday Chloe is it OK to disturb the Diners staff, when it's so quiet?!!
Just spent a pleasant day traveling on the Taieri Gorge Railway with Her-in-doors, the daughter and her boyfriend. Should be able to post photos when I get back home.
I'm afraid Mike, that you're not selling me on the joys of snow flurries!
Good evening diners. Flo, just coffee please, see below.
just got home from celebrating our usual Thanksgiving dinner with our sister in law and her family. A great day as always. It had to be done today due to a conflict with her daughter in law's family. Was a great day, too much wine, too much food. I'm glad I don't eat like this every day/week or else I'd be 300 lbs.
now the last push to get everything done involving fall/winter season change over. Final grass/leaves cutting, packing up deck furniture to shed, snowblower from shed to garage, wash 32 windows/doors. Speaking of snowblowers, slight chance might need to use it thanksgiving day here in MA, though probably will be just rain. Hope so, we're planning to drive to CT to my wife's family cemetery to place Xmas baskets. If snow will pick another day. Wishing everyone here the best and happy thanksgiving (just in case I can't get back in here again before Thursday).
