I have Fleischmann sets, cars and engines (many in original boxes), Profi track, unbuilt/unassembled turnatable and roundhouses, and a number of other new in box models I wish to re-home.
Any suggestions on the best method to find committed modelers without just tossing things onto ebay etc.?
I also have extensive H.O. slot car track and cars to re-home as well.
You could donate them to a model railroad club.

I assume this is all European equipment. I'm not sure where you live, but assume you are in the US. My best recommendation is to contact your closest chapter of ETE European Train Enthusiasts.
They are a wonderful north american group of mostly Euro expats who have modular layouts.
They might or might not be interested in the donation outright, but they will be plugged into any Euro specific meets and shows where you would get the most interest from what you have.
If it's US spec stuff, then I'd say any club will do though, it depends on the age and condition of the donation.

Find someone to do e-bay for you, my guy did all mine for 25% of the take and you do nothing.
You could try the HO Swap list:
