I did not get much work done on my layout this week, as I was just not in the mood for it. Just today I made a sign with the layout´s name. I like the British habit of giving a layout a name, makes it somehow more personal. The name I have chosen for my layout is "Engiadina" which means Engadin in the Romash language, a region in the Swiss canton of Graubuenden, home of the Rhaetian Railway, my prototype. A friend of mine from the Netherlands had sent me some laser-cut letters he bought at a dollar store. I glued them to a small piece of 3mm plywood, painted it in the correct color and highlighted the letters in white color. The sign now looks quite close to the signs used in the early years of the railroad, some of them can still be seen at station buildings. <img src="http://i.imgur.com/qsfE01e.jpg" alt=" " /> <img src="http://i.imgur.com/FN09EfV.jpg" alt=" " /> <img src="http://i.imgur.com/D16NdZb.jpg" alt=" " /> Not perfect, but as good as I can do it, given the fact, that Parkinson´s Disease is starting to show its effects on my dexterity!
