This is the weekend thread where modelers can show their completed models, work under construction and layout pictures new and old.
Let's have a lot of participation this weekend!

Rule 1: This is my railroad.
Rule 2: I make the rules.
Rule 3: Illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, but in the event of visitor-perceived anacronisms, detail descrepancies or operating errors, consult RULE 1!
Good morning from sunny and hot Northeast Ohio!
Got a couple of new cars done this week!
A Bowser 1958CF ACF Covered Hopper Kit, painted with Scalecoat II UP Covered Hopper Gray Paint and lettered with Highball Graphics Decals. The DT&I had numerous groups of this car servicing cement plants and the large clay mining facility in Bondclay, OH.
An Intermountain PS-1 Boxcar kit, painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red paint and lettered with Highball Graphics decals. The Central of Georgia had a few hundred of these cars acquired in the 1950's for general service.
A pair of Rapido PA-1's have "The General" rolling on time through the farmlands of the Stronsville OH club layout.
Thanks for looking!
Rick, thanks for starting WPF and your photos of your excellent work on the cars.
My photo this week is my gas station. I had trouble finding cheap N scale cars, but these were in a pack of 50 for just several dollars on Ebay.

Rick Thanks for starting this weeks WPF.
Love the decals on the freight wagons. The variety is amazing.
Taking a couple of days of modelling and running trains.

I love the overgrown look.
Looking from the control area. There is a train there - somewhere.
As a member of Boats & Canals Society A canal boat or three are a must.

To the world you are someone. To someone you are the world
I cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought
Thanks for hosting WPF Rick. Always enjoy looking at your fine crafted freight cars.
Thanks for looking.
Let's all help out our host Rick with lots of pics this weekend, now that the site (seems) to be working

Man! It took so long to post multiple pics in segments from the cell phone, two others posted circles around me
Not only in your modeling, but impressive photography on the night gas station scene John. Love it
The foliage colors always cheerful in your layout photos David. I'll bet the Granddaughters appreciate that too. Was admiring the Kingfisher as well
Hello everyone. Here's a close-up view of one of my favorite Shays. That thing must be over 50 years old and it runs like a Swiss watch!

Rick, Thanks for opening the WPF with a couple good looking cars and the rolling hills passenger train shot.
John, liking the station and fuel prices. Following your lead also got me to reminiscing about working as a 'pump jockey' in the summer of 69', gave new meaning to the term 'service station island' and ten times Blue Chip stamps with a fill-up.
David, As always lovin' your scenes, the canal boat is of special interest.
TF, Never a bridge too far, lots-o handiwork goin' on there.
Simon, Watching the handsome ol' Shay at work is a beautiful thing.
Thanks to all the contributors and viewers. Have a good weekend. Regards, Peter
