So i have A rivarossi drefuss Hudson that i tested the motor with a 9 volt battery and it runs, but I don't have the correct tender that originally came with it. I have a rivarossi casey jones tender that also has a drawbar with a hole and metal rod sticking out. Is there a way I can use this tender to run the rivarossi hudson?
Unfortunately, the pairing would look ridiculous - the tender is way too small, is not equipped to provide coal via a stoker and it ain't streamlined. I would hunt up a spare tendr on the used market. BTW, you might be able to use a Challenger or Big Boy tender as pseudo PT type tender as some Hudsons were so converted in later years. The Dreyfuss Hufsons were also stripped of their cladding, so this could be an intermediate step. And a shrouded Hudson would not look bad with a PT tender Check out the second hand market on line.
Do you live in the lower 48? If so I can send you a proper tender.

I am getting a server runtime error when I try to tap anyones profile for some reason.
Only certain browsers can still access profiles -- you can't do it at all from a phone, for example.
I have an e-mail address in Settings for display on my Profile page -- it isn't there and has not been there fir years. Since new PMs have also become impossible, the only 'solution' is to provide the e-mail in a post with the usual obfuscation syntax tomfoolery like overmod<remove this>[at]icloud[dot]<remove this>com.

The Hudson the tender comes from is also the 5446 but the number isn't on the tender anyway. I bought this engine while I was still in high school (1972 or so).
