Is there any differences between the two ?
Yep. The Angus van is a wide vision-type caboose where the larger & wider cupola over hangs the side of the caboose by a signficant degree, hanging out well below the roof line with larger side windows. There are two windows on each side of the caboose, the end window is to the left of the end door on each end, and the markers are mounted on the vertical posts on each end.
The Hawker-Siddeley caboose has a narrower, smaller cupola that only overhangs the sides of the caboose above the roof line with narrower cupola side windows. There are three windows on one side of the caboose, two on the other. The end window is to the right of the end door on each end and the markers are mounted on the end of the roof overhang on each end.
The stoves are also mounted in opposite corners from the other caboose.
Essentially, the 1972-built Angus is the "new, improved" version of the 1964-built Hawker-Siddeley cabooses.
