Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.

It's cool!I had to re-solder the wire that plugs into the tender and add a brass draw bar extender as well as. Kadee #5 coupler .I painted the tender flat white ,put on vinyl letters and then painted it black.Let it dry and then peeled off the  vinyl UP lettering.

There IS a manufacturer called TETSUDO. Perhaps this is what the OP is refering to?

TENSHODO was certainly another player as well.

Good Luck, Ed

"Testudo Brass" means "Brass Tortoise" - you sure about that

Well the only markings I found on it was a brass gear plate with Tetsudo stamped on it .Has a large motor that looks like it came from the '50 s and sounds like a coffee grinder but it runs very smoothly even at low voltage

Doesn't look like Tenshodo made this.

Tetsudo was short lived compared to some of the others.  I think they were gone by the early 60's.  Some of their models aren't especially valuable, but others can have a very high price tag due to their extreme rarity.

Tenshodo is actually still around.  They just don't make US models anymore.
