The Pennsylvania Railroad was looking for a replacement for their ageing fleet of B60b baggage cars and built ten of these twin-door replacements. They classed them as Mail Storage cars. I believe only one was painted with the passenger stripes. The cars had steam and signal lines as well as marker brackets:

Thanks Kevin, I'll bet your probably right. Just getting to learn the types of locomotives better, I've no idea on cranes. The crane company was Wells though.
Have always enjoyed the bridge building hobby, but check out this guy's model.
