<p>I also have an SD7 and a SD9.  I would check the guage on the wheelsets with an NMRA guage. One or both of them may be slightly out/your solder might be interfering.  I seem to remember having to adjust the wheelsets on my P2k (Blue Box) SD 9 (it was less slightly less than allowed tollerance).  The SD7 might have also needed adjustment.</p>
