Good Evening!

It has been a beautiful day - lots of sunshine, which also meant a lot of noise, as the neighboring kids were let loose. How can small children make such a terrific noise?

I am a little off track today. We changed to DST last night and it always takes me a couple of days to adjust my inner clock accordingly. Each year, the adjustment takes a tad longer.

Model railroads come in all sizes and shapes, from that sub-miniature, hardly visible 1/450 scale of T gauge up to the conglomerate dubbed G scale, which is a bundle of different scales running on 45mm track. 7/8th scale is gaining popularity among those, who love scratchbuilding and I have seen some fantastic small layouts made in that scale.

Nothing beats 1/2 scale, which you find predominatly in Britain. It´s so close to the real thing - in fact, it is the real thing! But take a look for yourself!

Enjoy this video of the Fairbourne Steam Railway!
