Good Afternoon!

Time for a cup of coffee and a slice of that same apple strudel that Garry is having, topped with vanilla ice cream and rum raisins, Zoe, if you´d be so kind! Thank you!

It´s a beautiful spring day, just a littel overcast with many really sunny spells. I went outside for a few moments, just in time to see a long intermodal train from Switzerland pulled by a consist of Swiss Federal Railway (SBB Cargo) Re 4/4 II electrics - still a rare sight this far up north! Couldn´t stay for long, as my back is still killing me.
Does anyone have any model railroad plans this weekend ?
No, none soever! I have pretty much lost interest in my Swiss layout. All I do is to keep it in shape for an eventual sale. Before I start any other MRR activity, I need to see it go.

I do a little day dreaming, now and then, dreaming I had a wonderful O gauge tinplate layout - of course with a Marklin tinplate Croc of 1930´s manufacture roaming about. One of those reptiles has recently been auctioned at the "Bay", fetching $33,000!

When I grow up and get rich... Petra tells me I´ll never grow up!

I know we are celebrating MR´s 1,000th edition at its place of birth, but do you mind joining me in a cab ride down the Mariazeller Railway in Austria, a 750mm electric narrow gauge line through one of the most romantic areas in Europe?

Well, here we go:

Have a good one!
