I have been wondering what the best N scale track manufacterer is for a double track and Industries. I am going to be basing my layout on the Loop to Layout series by JC's Riptrack, so I need to be able to figure out what would give me the best track geometry for a stub yard, interchange, multiple crossovers, 2 industries (one Inglenook puzzle) and a port area. I know track geometry for Atlas 80 and Kato Unitrack , and possibly a tad bit on Peco N track. I am planning on using DCC and possibly signals. I don't mind roadbad track, but I do mind my trackage to dollars ratio. I can clarify anything if you need me to on request.

I've used Atlas N flex track. I use code 80, and I don't know anything about code 55.
I use Pico turnouts.
I've been happy with both.

To be honest with you, I have been a KATO UniTrack user for years in N Scale and sadly Lionel and MTH Fastrack and RealTrax for years and I no longer recommend any of them except for temporary layouts.
I recently, started using good old flex track and cork road bed and it is so much better! Better performance and less issues, not to mention the cost savings.
One thing I will say about Kato UniTrack, its IMHO the best out there if you have to use it, but not without issues. A big thing I like about it are there conversion track pieces where you can go from UniTrack to standard flextrak and roadbed.
In my case, I actually used any UmiTrack piece to connect to the flex track using the KATO unitrak rail joiners instead of the Kato conversion track.
It works! Just make sure you glue everything down with Woodland Scenics white foam glue (the best for everything) and allow to dry.
I used the KATO Initrack for my complicated yard work and curves, and then the long Flextrack straights for my long straight runs.
