Is there a safe way of removing the shell from a Bachmann Doodlebug. Bachmann's Forum has been down quite awhile.
I've found the safest way is to pry one side of the body near the middle until one of the latches comes undone, then place a thin object into there to keep it open. Keep doing this until all of the latches from front to back are released, then lift the body off.
