The RI and the Katy have decided to begin deiselization on The Oklahoma Mexico & Gulf. They have purchased 4 GP7s for the line as well as leasing a number of thier own locos to thier new subsiderary. It was originaly planned that the OM&G become part of the Katy and the Rock, but it was decided that the line would keep it's name and managment. another line, the Chapel Hill Northern has bought the OM&G's clarksvill branch and has begune operations from clarksvill to Oklahoma City. The OM&G will continue to run trains on the line, to get to It's Line Between Dodge City, KS and Altus, OK.
