Godd Evening Folks!

Aside from the 75th anniversary of the Japanese raid on Pearl Harbor, ist is also the day of the 181th anniversary of the opening of the first railway in Germany! And my dad´s 90th birthday. I wish he were still with us!

In 1978, I visited Pearl Harbor and did the Navy cruise to the USS Arizona Memorial. It´s a strange thought that my visit dates back more years now than the number of years which had passed by from the sinking of the battleship to my visit.

Join me in a silent prayer for those 1,177 men who lost their lives serving on the USS Arizona.

I went to my friend´s place to finish the Christmas layout for his grandson. Everything is up and running now and in good order! I gave the locos a check-up, cleaned the wheels and carefully lubed them, as they had been stored for 20+ years. Grandsome is going to get a really grand gift!

Lion - IIRC correctly this is not the first time you broke a limb! Take care, friend!

Have a happy one!
