 Thank you John.

I hope it works out good for you. As an engineer throttle it's fantastic and easy to use. As a programming tool it's a PIA. You will see. At least you can run trains. Has it cured any of the strange behavior you have experienced?

You didn't have to do that. It could have waited until you get a permanent replacement.

Thank you again and have fun.

     Pete.

Lenz has been a good system and has outlived other DCC pioneers like Wangro, CVP and others.

CVP is still around and Wangrow sort of lives on as NCE.

The thing to remember about DCC equipment compatibility between mfg is this: An equipment mfg (ie Lenz, Digitrax) will always make their new products backwards compatible with the old*.

Not always.  MRC's Prodigy Express and Prodigy Advanced2 command station components are in no way compatible with their original Prodigy, and none of the  above are compatibile with the Command 2000 (one of the reasons their DCC products were looked down upon).

OK, I'll check it out. The email account I am registered with is my junk mail account. I rarely check it unless I am expecting a message from somebody. Otherwise I just use it to register on websites so I keep my primary email address clear of spam.
