gmpullman John-NYBW Has Diamond Scale since gone out of business. The last I knew of them was that they were bought by the guy that runs Rob's Trains in Alliance, Ohio. It has been years since I've been there but you could try contacting him there. http://www.robstrains.com/ Diamond Scale was started around 1967 and for many years was located in Oakridge, Oregon. In late 1999 it was relocated under new management to Glendale, Arizona. Since 2000 all the kit instructions have been up-dated and include many diagrams to make the construction steps clearer. In August of 2007 Diamond Scale was sold again and moved to Alliance, Ohio. We intend to keep all current items in production and will also make available again O scale turntables. Good Luck, Ed

I found a current version of their website with updated prices. I'm going to give them a call after the holidays and see what they have that I might be able to retro fit to one of my current TTs and the Scale Structures Ltd TT which I have yet to install. The latter is just a bridge with instructions for building the pit. The other one is the Walthers non-powered 90' TT. There is a motor for it which I purchased seperately but died after not a very long service life and I'm not inclined to buy another. Both the TTs are near the edge of the benchwork so hand cranked power seems practical for both.
I was New school DCC as my Digitrax Chief II had its capacitors in its handheld dry out and its too expensive to buy a new one.
So I went back to DC Old School, which was fine, but I have several DCC equiped locos collecting dust.
So I ordered a new Digitrax Starter set so I can use those other DCC Locos and go back to New School.
My track is all code 83, except my yard is code 70 and powered by DC. My engines are all radio-controlled sound by Rings Rail Pro system. I have one 15x62' room pretty much done, and recently started on my other 15x30' extension. At 73 progress isn't all that fast, but I'm slowly getting there.

This is what I can find now:

It's almost two years old. I thought I had found a price list from last spring but apparently forgot to bookmark it. I think the phone number is the same although I haven't tried it. I was going to wait until after the holidays to call them because a lot of small companies shut down or are on a skeleton crew.
