Spare parts for HO gauge brass locos
Posted by Virgil on Friday, September 24, 2021 2:50 PM

Hi:

Looking for a new wheelset for a Samhongsa CPR N2 2-8-0, any suggestions please?

Actually there was a supplier that had stocks of new brass parts including wheels, could have been Green...something, are they still active?

I believe you are thinking of Greenway Products.  I don't know if they are still active.  Their website is http://greenway-products.com/, but it just comes up as a black screen.

EDIT:  This website might offer better luck: http://www.greenwayproducts.com/

I had ordered a display case from Greenway Products in February. Shortly after, I received a message that due to illness of the store owner everything was on hold, but I should be patient. And indeed, about a month ago the display case was shipped. It seemed that the owner was doing better. The OP might want to inquire if they are completely back in business.

These guys have a wide range of brass parts including some wheelsets-

I have found some brass parts from these guys in Canada who were very quick-

https://www.tmrdistributing.com/presta/index.php

And I got a Precisionscale tender vestibule for my MTH Yellowstone, which I was having a hard time finding, from this Ebay site. Perhaps they have wheels?

Also very reliable.

This site has members who seem to know the mechanics of brass steam inside out-

There are less and less of us fiddlers out there so it can be a real trawl for these things as sources inevitably dry up. Let us know how you get along and good luck!
