I have one for grand trunk western but a small part came off from around the tank i think can anyone post a detailed diagram it is not in the booklet thanks

It is close but i think the part came off the hood forward right side around the airtank Ed it doesnt have the coil pipes only one on left side the right dosent have it this is above fuel tank also what is the difference between 1200 and 1200RS?
Rapido doesn't have the "exploded" diagram available yet for the EMD SW1200.
The GMD is the Canadian-built version.

The main visible difference for the model railroader between the SW-1200RS and the SW-1200, is the headlights on both the cab and hood end of the SW-1200RS are surrounded by large, road unit number boards, mu capability in the pilot area, and flexi-coil trucks. The ones I looked at on www.rrfallenflags.org had a housing over the radiator on the hood top, probably for winterization.
Most SW-1200s intended for mainly switching duties had AAR type switcher trucks, small fuel tanks between the air reservoirs, no cooling coils, and small number boards built into the headlight housing. Perhaps our friends from CN country can give you a better description of the differences, I'm not a CN/GTW guy.
Slightly off topic but related to the SW-1200.
So I found out something interesting today about my Rapido SW-1200. When you get a chance turn on F21 and/or F22. It made me laugh....
The guys are Rapido definitely have a sense of humor both in thier manuals and with their easter eggs.

Amen! My Royal Hudson plays O Canada on F17 and IIRC a Churchill speech with F23. I forget what some of the diesels have. I think they were Star Wars sounds.

Some people are critical of Rapido for the spoof sounds included. But it's just Jason being silly and I'm ok with that. We need a little levity in the hobby.
