The Route of the BroadwayLion
Posted by BroadwayLion on Monday, August 16, 2021 5:11 PM

It has been a long time since my #3 server crashed and took my website with it.

We have now contracted with a computer management company, so the little LION does not need to masnage the network anymore. Him builded his website back on a commercial server since it was decide not to put personal websites on our servers.

So without further ado here is the same old broadwaylion.com

And a mighty "Huzzah" arose from the rest of the pride.  And then they resumed eating their hamburgers (no bun--upsets their delicate tummies).

I recognize the Lion by his paw.*

*A quip attributed to Jacob Bernoulli when he received Newton's solution to a mathematical challenge he had posted a year earlier to the his brother, Johann, to the Marquis de l'Hopital who was an amateur mathematical enthusiast, and to Gottfried Leibnitz, the independant co-founder of calculus.

Welcome back, Lion.

Welcome back Brother Elias! We have missed you.

I eagerly look forward to seeing pictures of your subway again and what changes you have made to it!

Unfortunately I am having knee problems too. I can barely make it up the stairs from the basement to the bedrooms. There are only 19 steps and they kill me when I have to do them all at once! I'm glad I don't have to go up as many stairs as you do to get to your layout!

Cheers!!

Dave

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!

Just wanted to chime in and say that after seeing your layout for the first time I love it!

It brings back memories as I used to live on 2nd Street just off Smith in Carrol Gardens - right near the Smith and 9th Street stop on your layout.

Well done!!

Good to see you back Elias.

You will have to get the groundskeeper from Assumption Abbey to bring up the leaf blower to get the Holy dust off the layout. That's a video you should share.Laugh
