Good Afternoon!

I am battling computer issues, which started a few days ago. While I am fine with most web pages, this forum, Youtube and Google are giving me a hard time, slowing down my PC. It could be the volume of information in connection with my rather slow line at the moment. This will be fixed by coming Thursday with a change to a new and hopefully faster connection.

Steven - I´ll try my best with adding names to the list:

Aside from Jeffrey "Running Bear" Wimberley, we have the following names for the RIP track
(by order of my memory):

Barry Arnold

Ed Murphy (remember his OJ?)

Andy Sperandeo

Jerry Cox

Wolfgang Dudler

Stein Rypern, Jr.

These are the names of folks who passed away since I joined in 2009 - according to my not so infallible memory. I am sure others will be able to contribute names from the times before I joined.

I am slowly selling my model railroading goodies via the bay - I have put the Z scale layout up for sale, but I expect this to take awhile. There is some work to be done on the Swiss layout before that can be sold. I have ordered a few more trees and an agricultural vehicle to populate the layout. That would make the scenery a little more complete. I also have to do some work on those two tunnel portals to make them look like the realy thing. It´s basically only putting a thin layer of DAS self-drying clay onto them and engraving the stone structure. Somehow, I am very reluctant to tackle this job. There are also finishing touches to be done to complete the layout wiring, but I leave that to my friend Lothar, the electrician. I am not sure whether to put up the catenary or not. It´s an expensive affair, which probably won´t reflect into the price I may get for the layout. I guess I will try to sell it without it first and see how that will go.

Working on my layout is getting more and more of a hassle for me. I have lost my sense of coordination to a degree, which makes even typing a gamble, let alone handling a hot soldering iron. My doc tells me it is all mental, but how can one be happy living under a constant threat? Things are not turning to the better here - I won´t say more, as I see Cuz´ Vinnie has risen from the backbooth.

TTFN!
