There is a video under the "Model Railroader" tab entitled Beginners-Model Railroader-Basic Training:Laying Track. It doesn't have a lock icon on it, yet I can't play it. Am I correct in assuming that my subscription only covers magazines, both online and on paper, but no video access at all? I do not have the Unlimited subscription.

I haven't done an exhaustive search, but Member Videos used to be a part of the MR subscription and now are locked. Nothing else I tried worked.
The overwelming consensus of numerous threads since the roll out of the Beta Trains.com is negative.

Look up "MarklinofSweden" on YouTube. He has a rather nice series of step-by-step videos for building a nice "first" layout.

Great suggestion. His video series for beginners is what I expected to find here, but can't. Might just cancel this as all it seems to be is magazine access, without a good way to search all the issues. I think the Internet passed these guys by.
