<p>Not a bad location for that event. Porthmadog is within a reasonable distance, so a ride on the Ffestiniog Rlwy. to Blaneau Ffestiniog as well as a trib to Canaerfon on the Welsh Highland Rlwy. can be included in the tour.</p> <p>Safety should not be a concern - after all Birmingham is not London. My only concern would be food. I have spent quite a long time in the UK and hat to eat some pretty grisly things.</p>
