<img src="http://cdn.funcheap.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/flag-fireworks.jpg" alt=" " /> Happy 4th of July! Good morning! Well, it ain´t a good morning! My true und trusted Panasonic DMC LX-1 I bought 10 years ago died, struck down by  a bad case of built-in obsolescence. I started out with the camera switching itself on - just by magic. Only removing the battery kept it off. Since this morning, the lens does not retract any longer and taking a pictures is not possible. The dang thing is as dead as a dodo. No more pics from me, I am afraid - I just can´t afford to buy a new one. Sad, but true.
