I have a walthers trainline tank car, trucks were held press fit by a pin. One pin is damaged but I couldn't get the remaining pin out to install truck, does anyone have any advice? thanks!
Could it have been glued in by a previous owner. If he used CA, there is an ungluing agent. Warning it will take paint off faster than brake fluid.
If it is just stuck, maybe really hot water might help. Other than that, drill it out and find a replacement pin or fill the hole with styrene rod and drill and tap of a 2-56 screw

I agree with Henry's suggestion...use a solvent-type cement, such as MEK, and use styrene rod roughly .004" larger than the hole. Coat the end and circumference of the rod near the end with MEK, and likewise coat the inside of the hole, too, then force the rod into place. The solvent will have softened the mating surfaces, creating an extremely tight-fitting plug. Allow it to fully re-harden (I usually leave it overnight). You can then remove any excess rod material, then drill and tap for a suitably-sized screw.
