Good Afternoon!

We are in the midst of a terrible thunderstorm, accompanied by torrential rainfall. This month started nice, but it sure changed course. Seems as if we will be getting a wet summer this year.

I layed the track of my Z scale layout this morning. I used tiny nails to fastened it to the cork subroadbed, which was a challenging task. Glueing the track is no option, as it is so fragile, it may warp while the glue cures. Well, somehow I managed to get that accomplished! Hooking up my power pack and conducting a test run concluded the exercise. Ther is a bit of tweaking necessary with one of the curved switches, as the loco stalls on it in one direction, but only going straight through the switch. The other direction and branching off works OK.

Now I have to wait for some odds and ends to arrive to start on the wiring.
