Never ordered from them direct and can't even find shipping cost without entering all details (just need to order some shells). Any problems and anyone know the shipping costs (some companys are really high).

I've ordered from them in the past, and while I don't recall the actual cost of shipping, it wasn't at all unreasonable, and that's for shipping to Canada.

I've found Bachmann very good to deal with.  I sent them a 2-6-6-2 that I had bought, second-hand, that needed new gears in one of the engines, along with the usual $40.00 fee for out-of-warranty repairs.
It turned out that they didn't have the parts to do the job, but offered me a replacement loco (not an articulated).  I declined, and my locomotive was returned promptly, along with the $40.00 (which I had been told was not refundable).  A couple of years later, they offered replacement engines for the 2-6-6-2, and I ordered a pair, at  a reasonable price, which were delivered promptly and again, at a reasonable cost.

Direct from Bachmann is the only way I have bought Bachmann parts, many times, but none real recent.

I have often bought extra parts for kit bashing projects

Shipping always seemed reasonable ( I only live two hours from them) and service has been great.

No issues ordering and receiving directly from Bachman.  I seem to remember that shipping was reasonable and parts arrived quite quickly.

I order parts from them now and then.  The shipping cost is reasonable in most cases, and they're quick to get the orders out.  And if the part that comes in is defective, they'll replace it right away!Smile

I've ordered some of their HO and On30 chassis' to me in Australia, for On30 loco builds.  Shipping costs were reasonable, and delivery was prompt, given the distance involved.
