Just announced Northeast cabooses. 3 numbers in Reading as built, none duplicate the one number they came in from P2K. Plus a bunch of other roads that used the same basic design - I can justify a CNJ one or two. There goes my wallet...

Welcome to the club Randy, I think I am at 23 Rapido items, I ran out of fingers and toes.

I am currently at 2 products from Rapido... a 37 foot meat reefer, and an RDC.
I have three X-31s on reserve.

I have two RDCs and an FP9A already, and I have pre-ordered two cars for the Canadian Pacific Canadian. That is the first time that I have pre-ordered anything!
By the way, as much as I appreciate the effort that Jason and his crew have put into their products, I am a bit disappointed by a couple of the details. For example, the Mars light on the FP9A puts out very little light. It should be extremely bright but it barely glows. I'm going to get really brave at some point and take the Mars light apart to see if I can install individual LEDs in each of the lenses. I just got some 0102 white LEDs from China and they should fit inside the existing lenses just fine.
The other detail that I'm going to work on is the rear marker lights on the observation car. They should be pointing to the rear but instead the light shines in all directions. I'm hoping that all that is required is a bit of paint but I may have to reposition the LEDs to get them bright enough. Fussy, fussy, fussy!!
Cheers!!
Dave
I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Hey, that's exciting news, Randy. Happy for you. Maybe someday Rapido will decide to make an offset cupola caboose - like the NYC & Rutland version True Line Trains (TLT) finked out delivering on before they went belly up.
I just ran across the annnoucement on the Atlas site that Atlas acquired some molds & tooling from TLT in Aug '20. They don't mention the offset cupola caboose so I'm guessing they only purchased the molds for items that were previously released by TLT.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
Well here we go again.
I guess I will be in for a few WESTERN MARYLAND circle herald versions.
But I would be in for more if the ATLANTIC CENTRAL could get some unassembled undecorated ones.........

The only Rapido cars I soon will have. The Amtrak N Scale Horizon coaches in late 90s, Phase IV and VI. I believe I ordered 5 or 6.
